Online Counselling is confidential, convenient and constructive.
Unlike face-to-face counselling, you have some space to reflect on your feelings, and time to put them into words, either verbally or in writing. You also maintain a degree of anonymity, which may help if you feel anxious about communicating face to face.
You can have sessions in real time (Webcam, Voice Only, Instant Message) or by a weekly Email.
Alternatively, you might prefer sessions that are Text-Based (Email, Instant Message) or more like a physical meeting (Webcam, Voice Only).
Online counselling is not crisis support.

How we work together
With Text-Based Counselling, the act of writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you to work through what's happening in your life. You will have a record of the conversations we've had, so that you can refer to them at any time, even after our counselling sessions have ended.
In Webcam and Voice-Only Counselling sessions, there is perhaps less chance of misunderstanding, as we will be able to see and hear each other.
Sessions are held weekly, at a time that is convenient for you. I will email a link for you to click and connect with me. Email Counselling sessions are also held weekly. You send a weekly email to me, at an agreed time. I will read your email carefully, compose my answer, and reply to you within 24 hours.
You can book another session for the following week, and we repeat the process for as long as you find that it's helping.
